‘Gunter Hotel,’ San Antonio, Texas, Visual Identity Development. Steeped in history and ideally located near the Riverwalk in downtown San Antonio, The Gunter Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk is a true icon of the city. This landmark hotel was built in 1909 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Removing the word “Sheraton” as part of the rebranding, the renovation of the hotel project is expected to start in early 2024 and be completed by November of next year.
